Once you've read up on it a bit, give it a shot for ~100 miles, don't go nuts in the boost range. I'm fortunate to have a circular interstate around my city that's roughly 50 miles so when I've done it in the past I usually just run it twice. The detergents in the ATF work their way into the lifters and eventually push the air out, and once you change the oil the air is already gone.
